Appearance
    [athletic /  shapely / petite / delicate features / nimble]
Jungle life has made her into a lithe predator, and her small frame is packed with muscle and sinew, allowing her to quickly traverse the treacherous environment. Despite her toned exterior she still maintains a girlish appearance, having a delicately sloping snout and elegant face, with long wispy lashes and lustrous hair.

Personality

    Something she is still learning to cope with! However she has learned to make the most these handicaps, and is growing to be a very keen hunter. 

[inquisitive]
    A trait she has never grown out of. Exploring the world with a few less senses drives her passion for learning and figuring things out, in her own way. Solving riddles is her absolute favorite thing to do.

[quick learner]
    The jungles of oakfern are a dark scary place, and being quick on your feet as well as your mind is a necessity for survival. With her mother as a mentor she knows almost trick in the book when it comes to hunting and living in a harsh environment. 

[determined]
    Fear is death. To be fearless is strong. A lesson she learned early on, from her mother. Living on the surface has exposed her to many strange plants and creatures, and she is not afraid of the great beyond. Her mother wanted a better life for her, never to experience life in the dark, damp caves, forever cowering and afraid. 

[headstrong]
    Once her mind is set on doing something, she will always see it through, no matter the risks. Potentially deadly, but also makes her who she is. Often sees laziness as weakness and will not stand for it. Looks down on others who hedge at learn and explore, deeming them as cowardly and unfit to call themselves an oakfern.

[vindictive]
    Remembers everyone that has wronged her, no matter how small the transgression. She is the judge, jury and executioner, seeking absolute justice in the eyes of Gealach.

[zealot]
     A devout believer in Gealach, however not in the same sense as her cavern dwelling kin. Her believes her god sees them as weak and cowardly, wanting them to break free from their bonds of fear, and reclaim the land that was theirs. Living in caves and making meaningless sacrifices to a god that has already turned away, in shame, for what his children have become. She vows to better herself both physically and mentally, and to become a true champion of her god through might and magic.

Backstory
Aestir was the only daughter born of a powerful huntress that stalked the Oakfern jungles.  The fawn was unplanned result of a happy relationship that ended tragically at the claws of a jaguar. Enraged she vowed to destroy all enemies of Gealach, setting out to make a home above the surface, away from her cowing kin. A few months after the death of her mate she realized she was pregnant. The idea of having a fawn was abhorring, not only would it slow her down but it would render her entirely useless for months, and that was a risk she could not take. Seeking out a local shaman she asked for a potion to rid of her unborn child but was instead given a strange prophecy, and was urged to keep the fawn, that was a gift from the great moonfather himself. 

Moved by the divine intervention she returned to her small hovel determined to keep it. When the filly was born she fulfilled the prophecy of her god, and was born a blessed child, with smatterings of moonshine strewn across her inky black pelt. Her mother was overjoyed she could give life to such a blessing, and gave her the name 'Aestir', as instructed by the shaman. 

Her mother raised her to revere the 'great hunt', and taught her everything she knew, raising her to be a successful huntress just like her. Though too young to practice magic, she took a great interest in it, much to her mother's delight. Aestir's limited scope of vision made her even more deadly, able to see past most disguises in the dim lighting. Together the hunted in the shadows, side by side as one.
