Temperament Very kind and level headed, rather meek and diminutive in stature
History She had a rather abrupt entrance into the world, being born almost a month early, the odds were not in her favor. The first week was touch and go, most thought she would not make it because of how small she in addition to being born premature. Once the second week passed her condition seemed to stabilize and she began to bulk up like a normal foal would. When she was one month old she became seriously ill and once again, the staff thought they would loose her, but as if by some miracle she pulled through, defying the odds. Almost anyone that meets her can tell she is something special, she has a certain gleam in her eye, a warm luster to her mane and a brilliance to her coat that makes her glow with vitality. Kristen was afraid to name her at first because the fear of loosing her was very real, but Andrea eventually convinced her, and together they decided on the name Shimmer.
